Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider operating that tool so it can process the request and show results. Georgia Warrant Records does not keep a separate log of the terms entered into those partner searches.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other message sent to us may be retained so we can answer it. We keep the message within the organization and disclose it outside only when the law requires.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a browser opens a page, technical visit details may be recorded by the server:
- Device IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages opened and time spent on each
- The referring website, when available
- Time and date of page views
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookie files may be stored on your device to help measure site use, such as which pages receive visits and where sessions end. Analytics services may combine that traffic information. You can block cookies in your browser settings, although some site functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Visitor information helps maintain the service, route a search to its outside provider, measure which material is useful, diagnose faults, and display advertising that may relate to browsing interests.
No Warrant Data on File
Georgia Warrant Records does not host or sell a database of warrants, case files, or personal warrant entries. Georgia has no public statewide warrant search; official status comes from the issuing court and the local sheriff or assigned service agency. GCIC and NCIC are restricted criminal-justice systems, not public search tools. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§50-18-70 through 50-18-78, concerns existing records held by government custodians and does not make this private reference a warrant-records custodian. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. A query entered there is handled under that provider's privacy terms, including its own rules for retention and sharing. We do not control those practices. Read the provider's policy before submitting information.
Links to Other Websites
Links on the site lead to Georgia agencies, county sheriff pages, court providers, legal resources, and outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's privacy terms govern. Review them before sharing personal details.
Some advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Georgia Warrant Records does not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by:
- The search provider receiving a query
- Analytics services measuring site traffic
- Advertising networks displaying ads
- Government or law-enforcement officials acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used to protect information collected here. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security, so a breach or unauthorized access cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
Georgia Warrant Records is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from a person under 18. If a minor's information has been submitted, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Data Rights
You may ask us to review personal information handled directly by this site. Georgia's Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§50-18-70 through 50-18-78, applies to qualifying government records held by public custodians; it does not govern visitor data held by this private reference. You may:
- Request a copy of information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information we maintain
- Opt out of certain data processing
